TWIST LOCK GROMMET® (TLG) – INSTALLATION

– TLG is made of unbreakable high-impact Polystyrene
– Handles 3/8” to 1” thick surfaces
– Requires a 2 3/8″ diameter opening made
– Packaged with securing/locking wings in activated mode
– To install, all tube turns are clockwise

1. Remove and use the front side of cap as a template to outline surface opening. Using a 2 3/8″ hole saw drill bit or other power/hand saw of your choice, make opening in surface. Note: The cap is designed to fit snugly on the tube rim. Place finger into opening and lift to remove
2. Rotate wings inside collar to non-activated mode and turn tube until touching wing edge notches
3. Insert TLG into opening, press and hold tube rim against surface. Insert forefinger into tube and push each wing outward, until you feel it click into activated mode
4. With both hands, slowly pull tube forward, using minimal force, until collar top is 1/4″ inside back of surface opening and wing tops are touching surface
5. Turn tube using light pulling force, until tube rim is touching surface and then using one hand, place thumb on tube rim and insert forefinger on tube end, and with moderate pulling force, turn tube until secured
6. Run wires/cables through tube, position cap opening and snap on tube. Cap has an adjustable, rotatable or removable slider for full open, full closed and everything in between positioning. To adjust slider, which is designed for a secure fit, hold cap front side down in both hands. With both thumbs, push the slider raised bar forward or backward to desired position. Front of slider has two fingernail indents, which can be used to apply more force if needed

Note: To uninstall TLG, remove cap and wires/cables. Using fingers as described above, rotate tube counter clockwise while pulling towards you with moderate force. Wings will deactivate and TLG will come out of surface.
